What happens when the American dream (suburban house, yearly vacation, two cars) of past generations is achieved? What's left? What's the new dream for the youth of America? Celebrity: the elite private society that holds a solid gold key to the world. This play is about a generation with a lack of focus. It's about a society where dysfunction has become the norm, because its foundations are composed of commercialism, self-absorption and superficiality. It's about a bored generation of 'twenty something's' who lack direction; who lack any connection to others.
