CURRENTLY SEEKING - Executive Producer to assist in the ongoing development of this the theatre and its subsidiaries. Skills: Ability to work pro-actively, independently, and enthusiastically in contacting, meeting, and following-thru with both established and new contacts, potential investors, and theater professionals both in Chicago and around the USA. Comfortable using own home-office set-up to start, and attending numerous Chicago meetings, attending rehearsals, and various performances of the scheduled shows throughout the City. Understanding of theater development and production from both artistic and business perspectives. Compensation is possible "points" in the show and generous commissions. Development Director to work closely with the Executive Director and the Board in soliciting individual contributions, foundation, corporate and government grants, event sponsorships, producing benefit events and planned giving, endowment and capital campaigns.Must be business minded, proactive, creative, optimistic, positive, good natured, mature, organized, friendly, goal-and team-oriented. Pay is contingent upon grants, company profits year round, and contract work. Unique opportunity to make your mark on a new and growing organization. Casting Director which will be responsible for assisting the Artistic Director in casting actors for the theatre shows, our independent film subsidiary, as well as casting for contract work with other theatres and film entities in the Chicago community. Must be business minded, proactive, creative, optimistic, positive, good natured, mature, organized, friendly, goal-and team-oriented. Literary Director is responsible assisting the Artistic Director in locating material that is in line with our mission statement, that is to be used for our main shows, our staged reading series, and our annual festival submissions. Director of Marketing is responsible for a comprehensive marketing, promotion, press and public relations program that supports the mission of the Theatre. Responsible for developing and executing a marketing plan, incorporating market analysis, objectives, strategies and tactics including media selection. Managing Director that is business minded, proactive, creative, optimistic, positive, good natured, mature, organized, friendly, goal- and team-oriented applicants for the position of Managing Director. Pay is contingent upon grants and company profits year round. Unique opportunity to make your mark on a new and growing organization. Responsibilities include independent efforts to ensure REVOLUTION Theatre Company's fiscal viability, as well as supportive collaboration with the artistic and operational directors, the board of directors, and a growing roster of affiliate artists. Specific tasks to be based on the creativity and imagination of the candidate; general tasks include financial record keeping, ongoing grant application processes, meetings with donors, organizational meetings, formation of short and long term budget plans. Prior experience and familiarity in theater preferred. Computer literacy in a variety of programs preferred.
